First time the Quality management system of the JSC «Donskoy Tabak» was certified in order to reveal its conformity to the requirements of ISO 9001:2000 international standard and GOST R ISO 9001-2001 national standard in April 2003.
Within the time the system validity has been repeatedly confirmed by the results of supervisory auditing carried out by independent foreign and Russian certification authorities.
- The actual Quality management system of the JSC «Donskoy Tabak» was newly certified in 2006.
In October 2006 the auditor team «Bureau Veritas Certification» successfully carried out the new certification auditing of the Quality management system of the JSC «Donskoy Tabak» in order to reveal its correspondence to the requirements of the International Standard ISO 9001 — 2000 «Quality Management Systems. Requirements». As a consequence of auditing, there is no inadequacy revealed.
Constant improving of production processes, product development and modernization, putting new projects into life to control the product quality and technological process, mastering the operation of new equipment — this is the daily work of workers of all levels, from top managers to production workers.
Every worker of the company is responsible for the quality, and it is not just a declaration. Automatic systems of self-estimation of tobacco products and semiproducts have been introduced, which monitor defects index and tobacco net weight in cigarettes. The system of on-line monitoring to control the diameter and ventilation of filtered cigarettes has been introduced as well.
A database of chemical composition of tobacco raw materials, casings, flavors, as well as that of ready product safety parameters was created and is regularly updated.
- All materials and raw materials required for cigarette production go through the stage of entrance control, which is to prevent the inadequate raw materials and materials from getting in production.
We do not rest on our laurels while bringing into life our quality policy. Our final objective remains the same — constant competitive development of the «Donskoy Tabak» products. This is due to keeping up and improving the constant high quality of the products in order to cater for the various tastes and demands of our consumers.
