Since November 2003 the company «Donskoy Tabak» has got the Product Development Department. This department is responsible for the development of new products, support of produced tobacco goods, including their modification. The Product Development Department works on the development of new tobacco products together with the Production department, Quality control department, Procurement department and Logistics department. Production service provides production of test samples, quality control department carries out its chemical control, procurement department and logistics department are responsible for procurement of new material samples. The Product Development Department collaborates with the leading Russian scientific and research institutes. The Product Development Department carries out product tasting. Tasting marks are given by the taste panel and external public tasters. The Product Development Department analyses results and then issued parameters for materials for future procurement.
